The goal of Libreguide.org is to promote the right to study, modify, run, and share useful works of software. We provide resources for licensing libre and freedom-respecting software. We aim to provide straightforward answers to real questions as asked by the people developing freedom-respecting software.
The materials on Libreguide.org are based on 14 years of libre licensing experience from volunteer work for the Free Software Foundation's GPL Compliance Lab, developing software for the GNU project, and giving lectures on libre licensing.
